Former Winter Olympian Steph Prem is fast becoming one of Australia’s leading experts and advocates for women’s health and fitness. She the founder and director of Premium Performance and head trainer at her premium fitness and pilates space Studio PP. Known as the Pilates ‘It Girl’, Trainer to the stars and for her witty and raw motivational speeches – In an era where #fitspo reigns, supreme Steph is a refreshing, genuine and educated voice.

Steph is currently the resident “Fitness expert” for Australian leading brand Priceline Pharmacy, Expert Pilates panellist and contributor for Women’s Fitness magazine, Fitness columnist for the Melbourne Weekly Review, a regular healthy contributor for Bride to Be Magazine and numerous online health platforms.

Steph’s credibility secured her role as an expert commentator and panellist for Channel 10’s coverage of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games. Her depth of knowledge, athletic history, passion and love of snow sports made her a unique addition to Channel 10 and One HD’s commentary team.

A five-time Australian Champion, Steph was the only female to represent Australia in snowboardcross at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Following the games Steph suffered a horrific career ending accident that took her away from professional sports and jump wholeheartedly into an enduring health and wellness journey.

This is what prompted Steph to found Premium Performance (the popular healthy lifestyle blog) and recently open Melbourne’s most luxury health and fitness destination. ‘Studio PP’. (An embodiment of everything Premium Performance). Steph’s first studio in 2014 was ranked top 5 Pilates studios in Melbourne by URBAN LIST after being open less than 6 months.
