Healing Breakfast Smoothies

Try these amazing smoothie recipes as healthy breakfast options.

Gut Healing Anti-Inflammatory Caramel Smoothie

This amazing therapeutic smoothie is filled with fibre, anti-inflammatory nutrients, digestive enzymes, gut healing nutrients, essential fatty acids and protein.

 1 cup of papaya
1/2 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of ground flaxseeds
1 teaspoon of freshly grated turmeric
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon of mesquite powder*
1 small handful of cashews
1 tablespoon of gelatin powder
1 cup of almond milk OR coconut milk


* All ingredients can be purchased from Prahran Health Food Shop and Prahran Market.


Post Workout Green Smoothie

1/2 chopped cucumber
1/2 frozen banana
4 fresh/frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon of LSA
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
1 cup of baby spinach
5 mint leaves
1 1/2 cup of almond milk OR coconut water

Add greens at the bottom first, followed by the rest. Blend!


Not Another Green Smoothie

1/2 banana
1 tablespoon LSA
1/4 cup raw cashew nuts
2 medjool dates, pitted
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1/2 cup of water of almond milk

Blend ingredients together. Serve.
